What have you learned from your audience feedback?

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

My Video

Official Daniel Merriweather Video

Editing

Through out or video we use a lot fade to change the scenes, we used fading because this type of editing allows us to show the passing of time and as the story was about the breakup of two characters (over a period) this editing style shows that. We also used dissolve to link two shots together and to show the video as a dream sequence.

Developing Ancillary tasks

Looking at my first draft for my poster you can see that I have followed the conventions of real life posters, and comparing it to Maverick Sabre's one, I feel that there is nothing else that needs adding to. From primary research I have carried out (asking teachers and fellow students) they have all said it looks good and it gives them the information that they need.
I have emulated Mavericks Sabre's 'Lonely are the brave' poster.
This is my first draft for my CD front cover. I do not think that this is good because the Masthead runs off the page although the positioning of his face I think is good.

Improvements I will make to the front page will be to re-size the masthead and move all on the page.
